Hotel Marineau Shawinigan, Shawinigan

I had a mixed experience during my stay at the hotel. The rooms were big and comfortable, very clean, and conveniently located near essential facilities. However, there were some minor inconveniences like noise and a mix-up with another guest's name. The staff was overall helpful but missed following up on compensating for an inconvenience.

I have mixed feelings about my stay. The hotel's location was convenient, close to the Park Mauricie entrance and restaurants in the town center, but the noise and heat from the AC units outside my room were bothersome. The service was a bit hit and miss, with friendly staff but delays in resolving issues. The dining options were basic and lacking healthy choices, although the staff tried to accommodate requests. The rooms, resembling business rooms, were clean and right by the stairway and laundry room, offering a no-frills experience.

The hotel is conveniently located near Park Mauricie entrance and town center restaurants. The service was welcoming and helpful, although there was an issue with someone checking in under our name. The dining experience had limited choices and was not up to expectations. The rooms were spacious but noisy due to the AC units. The location is between Montreal and Mauricie, offering easy access to attractions.
